From the moment we first chatted with Matt Stedman we knew, this guy just gets it. He has an obvious passion for music that is only outmatched by his talents. Early on, he focused on understanding our personal music tastes as well as our guests and had it thoroughly documented to avoid unwanted surprises for either side. We took his professional suggestions each and every time and found them to be right on the money. Overall, the Matt Stedman Band knows how to deliver. His bands acoustic violin and guitar performance for our outdoor ceremony was delicate and romantic while the cocktail and post dinner tunes were upbeat and wildly energetic. Anyone who appreciates the purity of live music over mp3 recordings will find this band is worth every penny. We highly recommend the Matt Stedman Band for any and all occasions, but most credibly so, a wedding. |

We loved working with the Matt Stedman Band leading up to our wedding and on our big day. They did a really nice job setting a beautiful tone for our ceremony, controlling the flow of our reception and generally playing a really good variety of music. Everyone was dancing and we received a number of compliments that it was the best wedding set list they've heard (including friends of all ages). Matt has good attention to detail and was very thorough in all of our conversations about the evening and in understanding our musical tastes. This is the band to hire if you're looking for good music for music lovers! |

The Matt Stedman Band performed at my February 2013 wedding. It was a blast! They style of music was easy to dance to for everyone and the quality was beyond my expectation. Matt was very easy to work with in the months leading up to the wedding. He made sure I had every detail of my ceremony and reception planned and set. When the day came, I didn't get a chance to talk to Matt before everything started so having everything planned left me stress free! Matt did a great job being the master of ceremonies and got everyone's name pronounced correctly! (That's a tough one to do!) My guests (including myself) never left the dance floor. I thought 3 hours of dancing time would be plenty but I could have went for a few more!
